Take a moment to meet the "ladies" of Pocket Money Ranch. We have
spent years searching for the best broodmares money can buy. In our search we did not
allow thousands of miles to come between these mares and their new home.
We have shipped
most of these mares in from every part of the country! Needless to say they are more then
worth the effort it took to find them and "bring them home"! We have amassed
most of the best barrel racing bloodlines in history to cross on our fine stallions.
Our mares
must posses wonderful dispositions, flawless conformation and athletic ability - that they
will pass on to their foals. Ninety per cent of our mares were barrel horses before
retiring to the broodmare band. Proving that they have what it takes to win in the
arena and also in the breeding barn! Most of these mares could be taken right back out of
the pasture to win a barrel race.
Rhetts Sporty Chic
I have owned
this mare since I was 11 years old. She was the first "real barrel horse" I had
ever laid a leg across. She was 4 years old and had just wrapped up her futurity year and
was now paired up with a novice 4H kid. I couldn't have asked for a better
friend and teacher. This mare took me from knowing nothing to running and winning
everything from 4H to the High School Rodeo Finals and then on to Pro and state
rodeos. You can't buy that kind of disposition, but we sure can breed for it, and every
one of her foals are the same-way!
As well
as adding Ritzy gave us a beautiful gray stud colt out of Two T Gen Wheeler this year, she
is bred back to him for 2005
Ritz has won
at every level of competition, From 4H to the WPRA. She has placed at the Quarter Horse
Congress in both barrels and poles. She won the OHHSRAF in barrels and poles. Made
it to the NHSRF in Gillette Wy. She is also a 19 second pole horse!
Her half brother Super Sport has won the numerous WPRA, Has won the Quarter Horse Congress
Sweepstakes 8 times.
Ritzy is not for
sale (she is family), but a few of her foals are for sale!
